Brian Mallory

Brian Mallory is a fifth generation Memphian and real estate broker at Hobson Realtors. He has been a Tennessee-licensed real estate broker and certified residential appraiser for over twenty-three years. Brian served on the Board of Directors at the Memphis Area Association of Realtors from 2022-2023. He previously served on the Professional Standards Committee for seven years, the Grievance Committee for three years, and he was the board liaison to the MLS Committee, Fair & Affordable Housing Committee, and Member Services Committee. Brian served on the Shelby County Board of Equalization from 2009-2011, after which he obtained his tax agent license, giving him the ability to represent homeowners when appealing their property taxes to the Shelby County Tax Assessor.

Brian grew up in Midtown, where he attended Grace St. Luke's elementary school, graduated from Memphis University School in 1988, and obtained a BS in Business Administration/with emphasis in Marketing from the University of Montana, in Missoula, MT. Brian is heavily involved with fundraising for the Youth Villages 5K, the oldest continual 5K in the Memphis area, which was founded by a realtor at MAAR over forty-two years ago. He and his wife Michele, a yoga teacher, have two boys. Henry is a freshman, and Luke a junior, at Columbia University in New York City. In his spare time, Brian enjoys fishing at Porter Lake and Little Red River in Arkansas.
